Calling crime writers in County Laois
Ballylinan Library in County Laois is to host a crime writers group every second Wednesday at 6.30 p.m., starting this month.
The library's blog says: "It will be a creative writing group focusing broadly on crime, contemporary, historical, including the Gothic and the ghostly. The group will focus on different aspects of writing - beginning with setting and atmosphere, voice, character and of course, plot and story."
Each session will be free and include writing exercises, but places are limited to a maximum of eight people. If interested, call into the library at the Gracefield Shopping Centre, phone 059 8625007 during opening hours or email nboyce@laoiscoco.ie
