Voting for best Irish crime fiction novel

Online voting is currently under way for this year's Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards, including the crime fiction shortlist.

The six novels in the "Crime Fiction Award" category are:

• Alex Barclay - The Drowning Child
• Sam Blake - Little Bones
• Tana French - The Trespasser
• Liz Nugent - Lying In Wait
• William Ryan - The Constant Soldier
• Catherine Ryan Howard - Distress Signals

Liz Nugent's follow-up to Unravelling Oliver is also on the shortlist for the "RTÉ Radio 1’s The Ryan Tubridy Show Listener’s Choice" award category.

Votes may be cast until midnight on 11th November 2016. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in Dublin on 16th November.
